Dave and I had a whirlwind, romantic getaway this weekend to Asheville! We left on Saturday around lunchtime and got back late Sunday evening. We had a sushi dinnerdate and walked around downtown. The next morning after brunch, we headed over to his sister’s on the way out of town to see our cute nephews.
I sort of stumbled onto some really amazing fabric while we were on our trip, and I couldn’t wait to get home and sew! I stayed up until 4 this morning finishing up a bunch of new kits. This little bluebird is up now in the shop, and there are a few more that will be over at Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe later on this week!
I sort of can’t believe I’m awake right now. Dave’s folks were passing though town and stopped by for breakfast on their way out. I got up at 8 to make crescent rolls and have some family time. There is definitely naptime on the horizon!
