This morning, I woke up at 8:30 feeling super-energetic! I decided to take the opportunity and hit the Value Village right when it opened. Usually, the VV near my place is sort of mediocre, but today it was great! I got a ton of pillowcases, a really cute red, gingham dress, a bunch of summery tank tops, a second suitcase for our display and some baskets! Amazing!

On the way home, I kept passing yard sale signs and sort of trying to ignore them, since my haul from VV was so good. After the 3rd sign or so, though, it was impossible to resist and I decided to hit the next one I saw. Well! I turned onto the street just before mine, and there was a sign. You guys, this yard sale was meant to be!

See all that? That is all vintage fabric! This woman was destashing her studio. Now I’m going to have to do a little destashing to make room for all of this vintage awesomeness! She had to help me carry it to my car. I would have gotten more, but I ran out of cash. What crazy luck is that? Of all the yard sales in all the neighborhoods, the best one I’ve ever been to was 2 blocks from my front door. YES!

Things are certainly looking up!
