At this point, my beercap collection is pretty out of control, so you can imagine my joy when Jenny Ryan over at Craftzine posted about this awesome trivet made of bottlecaps and yarn scraps.
My Amphetamines & My Purls has a tutorial for knitting these cute trivets, and I’m once again left wishing that I knew how to knit! It makes me wonder if I could pull off something similar with fabric scraps…I’m picturing yo yos with bottlecaps inside. It’s certainly worth a shot! Maybe there will be time to give it a shot next weekend!
