I love it!! Of course, her awesome pictures got me thinking about how you’d pull something like this off for yourself. It looks like you could twist the paper into “reeds” and then use this tutorial over at The Guide Zone. If you want to go even more in-depth, I found an amazing list of basketry construction methods. Woah!
I also think you could extrapolate the whole idea and use things like junk mail or plastic grocery bags! It might turn out pretty to use a mix of all that stuff, too! If anyone gives it a shot, I’d love to see how it goes.
