See That Canoe? That Whole Thing is Made of Chopsticks!
Shuhei Ogawara, a city employee in the Fukushima prefecture of Japan, built this canoe out of 7,382 disposable chopsticks that he recovered from the city hall cafeteria. He was tired of seeing all of this perfectly good wood headed to the trash, so he diverted all of those suckers from the waste stream and, over three months, transformed them into this fantastical canoe! He’s an experienced canoe-builder and is planning a launching ceremony for May.
Obviously, the next question is: What else can you make out of discarded chopsticks??

Lunch Bags! The Book

I’ve used disposable chop stick to knit with when I was incredibly bored not long ago.
Generally though, I don’t use disposable, I bring my own!
Ooooh good one!
I love the idea of bringing your own chosticks, too!
