You guys, I have some super-exciting news! It’s so exciting that when I got the initial email about it, I had to read it a few times in my head and then again out loud to Dave before I was sure it was for real.
I’ve been invited to speak on a panel about green crafting at the Hello Craft Summit of Awesome!
The Summit is May 1-3 in Washington D.C.’s midcity area, which my friend Scott says is an awesome part of town. I’ve never been to DC before, and I’ve never spoken on a panel before, either! Lots of firsts happening that first weekend in May!
They have an amazing lineup, including Jenny Hart from Sublime Stitching, Liz Grotyohann and Jeff Fein-Worton from Cosa Verde (who are on the green panel with me!), and Etsy CEO Maria Thomas, and my good friend Christy Petterson of a bardis and The Indie Craft Experience. There’s also going to be a screening of Handmade Nation!
