You guys! I have been waiting for this movie for ages and ages and today, the trailer is out! Check it:

The No Impact Experiment was a year-long project wherein Colin Beavan and his wife and daughter tried to reduce their impact to zero. They gave up buying new things, using disposables, their TV, and electricity, among other things. They ate a totally local diet. They walked and biked. They became healthier and happier, and No Impact Man is sort of my hero.

The film and the No Impact Man book both come out on September first, and I want to see the documentary that night. Anyone want to come with me?

I am so so so so so stoked about this coming out and so kind of freaking out that it might not make it to Roanoke (which I’m moving to in a month) which might mean driving two hours to a real city, which is kind of wasteful, but what’s a girl to do? But really, he’s so inspiring! I love the stream of amazing documentaries coming out these days. First Food Inc, now this (and Coal Country).
