Craftster Challenge #41 results just came out, and I have to say, the winning project rocked my socks:

What you are looking at right there is a Painter’s Palette Appetizer Platter by Banga. She made a mini loaf of bread using a recipe from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. Once the bread was done, she cut little compartments in the finished loaf and filled them with different colors of delicious dips! You could really mix this up all sorts of different ways.

I especially love the painter’s brush that she made using fennel for bristles and onion skin to secure things together. Genius!

The whole thing looks almost too pretty to eat! ALMOST.
