Jes, I think that’s exactly what gets me. I feel like he’s falling prey to the same thing that gets me sometimes. When you’re surrounded by like-minded people, it’s easy to forget that in some places the way we think about things would put us in the minority.

I think advocating and applauding even small changes is how you get folks on board who maybe wouldn’t have been. Change is scary, and people need gentle coaxing.

I’m so excited for you about switching to crafting full time! You’re going to rock it!

As for Alex’s article, the main problem I have with it is that he claims that most people care and are passionate enough about life to make a drastic change…I don’t know if he’s talked to many Americans lately, but that’s not the case. Maybe the small percentage of us out there reading the article care, but I can guarantee my mom and brother and uncle and coworkers don’t.

BECKY!! That is SO awesome, I’m so happy for you!! I’m actually doing the same, but in January. I hope 2010 prooves to be an amazing and exciting year for both of us business wise! I’ll have to keep checking in to see how it goes for you :D
