How awesome! Georgia Organics and Atlanta Community Food Bank are teaming up to host an edible plant sale on Saturday, January 23rd! They’re calling it “The Incredible Edible Grow-It-Yourself Fruit Tree, Vine, and Berry Bush Sale!”

The sale benefits the Atlanta Local Food Initiative, a network of individuals, businesses, and government agencies working to build a sustainable, healthy local food system in the Atlanta area.

They’ll be selling plants that thrive in north Georgia’s climate, so they should be easy to grow and maintain.

You can check out the sale which is taking place on January 23rd at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Need directions? Here’s a handy Google map to the Food Bank!

  1. Thanks for this info! We will definitely take advantage of this wonderful sale! I also would suggest that anyone interested in a course on how to grow fruit trees and berries should check out Farmer D’s class this month. It’s only $10 for the class. That way you’ll know how to care for these trees, bushes and vines!

  2. Oh wow! When is the class?
