My friend Tobi and I were chatting on Facebook not too long ago about yoga. We’re both trying to get back into a regular practice and it’s just so much easier to do something like that with a little support.

Since we’re in different towns, we decided to give each other encouragement via Facebook. I tweeted about my morning yoga, and a few other folks seemed to have a similar goal: getting back into practicing on a regular basis.

I thought it might be fun if we set up a space where we can all share tips, troubles, favorite poses, and support, so Tobi and I started up a Facebook group just for that! It’s called Virtual Yoga Buddies.

If you’re interested in joining our little community, it’s open to anyone at all! I’m really excited to see where this goes!

    That’s such a cool idea! I’m wanting to start practicing yoga. I’ve tried it a few times in the past but am still a beginner. I’m going to check out a class next week, though.
