Friday Roundup: WARM THINGS

Man, I wish we had a fireplace!
Hey remember Friday Roundups? They’re back, baby!
It’s freezing here in Atlanta. I mean, literally freezing. Our pipes froze on Monday night, and it’s been in the teens and twenties every night for almost a week now.
I enjoy a few things about the cold: the kitties get extra snuggly, it’s sort of fun to dress in lots of cozy layers, and what a great excuse to snuggle down on the couch for several evenings at a time?
That’s pretty much where my love for cold ends, though. I grew up in South Florida, where temperatures in the 50s were occasions to put tights under our jeans and drink cocoa. In the spirit of staying positive, though, I thought I’d find some snuggly warm things to help get us through this cold snap. And away we goooooooo!

- Hemp and organic cotton Snow Day Sweatshirt from Conscious Clothing.
- La Jolie Femme DeMarron’s Blueberry Bush Ladies Spats made from reclaimed wool.
- Eco Toe slippers made from vintage canvas by Infusion.
- Happiknits’ organic cotton Goldie Eternity Scarf.
There. I’m feeling warmer already, aren’t you?

Lunch Bags! The Book!

Those leg warmers are GREAT. I guess they’re made from the sleeves of an old sweater? I may just have to try that!
I’m in love with that sweater–lust! Stay warm!
Those spats rock! Great little list!
And that fireplace….TO die for!
Right? I totally love those legwarmers, though I wonder if that’s a look I could rock. Marilyn and Tobi, I could totally see you in those spats!
Jes – I feel warmer just looking at that sweater!
