Reuse Inspiration: Toilet Paper Tube Dioramas

How precious are these?? Artist Anastassia Elias turns would-be discarded toilet paper tubes into tiny works of art! I just love how delicate they are.

It makes me wonder what other craft projects are hidden in those empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls we toss into the recycle bin! Have any of you guys done fun projects with them?

I covered an empty toilet roll with coloured Xmas paper,
Put a mniature bottle of sherry, or any liqueur inside. Then tie a string very tightly around the neck of the bottle. Forget how I made the wick (like the flame of the candle – red cellophane) and then covered the top over, leaving the string
over the side. For a table gift at Xmas lunch/dinner put one on each plate and get the company to pull the string for a pleasant surprise.
