The Stash Bust is winding down a bit. How’s it been going for you guys? Have you given in and hit the craft store? I’ve been holding out so far, and it’s been fun working with what I have.

As promised, here’s another roundup of awesome Stash Bust projects for ya!

April Stash Bust Roundup #3

You’re lookin’ at:

  1. Marshmallows & Pickles’ awesome woven fabric basket. It looks like it was a lot of work, but the results were just gorgeous!
  2. A genius wine cork necklace from Brass Paperclip.
  3. Some Art Talk’s stash buster zippered wallet.
  4. A lovely needle felted flower from Ecolectic Events.
  5. The Artist’s House’s applique images based on photographs. The detail involved in this project is astounding!
  6. Yet another entry from The Artist’s House, check out this scrap wood dart board!

The Flickr group officially closed this morning, but you can still check out a load of stash busty projects from the whole month over there! Our judges are going to be sorting through entries and picking winners, so look out for an announcement very soon!

I hope you guys have been having an awesome stash bust month! What projects have you been working on?

Angela, that’s great to hear! I don’t think it’s about going without necessarily, just about being mindful about what’s already in our stashes. It sounds like you’re all over it!

  2. Thanks Becky, for mentioning us. April Stash Bust has inspired me so much I’m now making a quilt out out of scraps. I won’t be able to finish it without buying batting though, and maybe a back. Just wanted to thank you though. I feel I’ve really developed a new habit :) along with my caffeine habit, lol.

  3. Becky says:

Thanks, Nicole! That’s funny…it almost sounds like giving up caffeine or smoking!

Thanks for posting these. I am incredibly proud to say I haven’t caved in and bought a single thing all month. It was really, really hard the first ten days or so but now I’m not minding at all.

Also, the first two weeks I was making a list of things I wanted once Stash-Busting was done. I’ve given up my list and am floored by how much great crafting supplies I have here at home.

Gorgeous products – I’m especially taken with number 1.
