The Uniform Project: One Year Later

Have you guys been following The Uniform Project? The one year project raising money to send Indian children to school is almost over, and Sheena has posted an awesome video of the first 355 days!
She’s been wearing the same little black dress for the entire year since the project launched, and her outfits are fantastical. The thing I love about the video, though, is watching those numbers tick upward as she raises more and more money for kids! Check it:
I’ll be honest here: that made me a little misty-eyed.
The project ends on May 1 and has raised over $75,000 for the Akanksha Foundation. If you want to follow its last few days, check out The Uniform Project’s website!

WOW. Just wow. That is such a great cause and she raised SO much, what an inspiration. Thanks for posting this.
I don’t know if I’m more impressed with her accessorizing skills or with how much money she raised for charity. A bit of both actually.
And I’m totally loving that little black dress!
Yes! I love seeing how she puts the different outfits together each day. When my friend Ally showed me her site back toward the beginning of the project, I spent hours going through the months of outfits I’d missed. That LBD is awesome!
I hadn’t heard about this idea, but I love it. How fantastic and what a beautiful idea. Thanks for sharing this! The way she transforms her outfits every day is just amazing.
