Friday Roundup: Goodbye, LOST
You guys, the series finale for LOST is just two little days away. LOST is one of my favorite shows, and I’m actually pretty emotional about the upcoming finale. We have folks over to watch every single week. Last year, when my surgery was the same day as a new episode, I tried to convince Dave to bring folks to the hospital to watch. Though I will confess that he was right and I was too doped up that night to watch it. In conclusion, I am serious about LOST, and the series finale is a big deal!
We’re having all of our favorite LOST fans over on Sunday for a pre-show potluck cookout, and I’m going to zoom back from Asheville as fast as I can to get ready for the finale. In honor of my favorite show’s ending, I thought it would be fun to round up some photos from LOST parties!
Here are the awesome ways that other fans have been celebrating:

- OK, so I was pretty proud of the LOST cupcakes that I made, but these LOST cupcakes by Brian Nalehman are over the top amazing!
- I know, half of these are baked goods, but there were so many awesome ones! Check out Emily Keafer’s Dharma cake.
- The black/white theme was really huge on this show, and there was an important scene with Walt and Locke playing backgammon. I love that foxmuld3r had a backgammon game going at this LOST party.
- Yep, another baked good. This Dharma van by Dave Cobb is so well done!
- Jamie’s Rabbits made fantastical Oceanic invites for her LOST party. I wish I’d seen this sooner and gotten it together to send invites for our party!
- Really, what’s a LOST party without some wine, right? Especially after all of that cork business with Jacob. So, it’s fitting that Curt made a bottle of LOST cab.
Do you guys have plans for the finale? I keep joking that I need to make LOST hankies, because I’m going to cry at the end, whether because it’s sad or because it’s over.

Lunch Bags! The Book

Oh WOW! What a great Roundup. I just came across this via The Kitchen. I’ll be linking to this post if you don’t mind.
Not at all! Go for it. :)
The van was from *last* year’s finale, and was made by the awesome Glenn the Baker:

We also had a buch of LOST-themed stuff made for *this* year’s finale, too, and took lots of photos. Be sure not to miss the Dharma Hatch Pudding Trifle!
