Can you believe that the Wheelbarrow Festival is tomorrow?? My little sister is coming to town tonight, and we’re looking forward to a day of music, food, and hanging at my tent!

Yesterday, my friend Leuwam gave me some awesome news about the fest: “R-town’s own General Larry Platt will be performing Pants on the Ground!”

If you’re not familiar with General Platt’s moment of fame, he auditioned for American Idol, and he is fantastical. Dave and I saw him once on the MARTA singing this song before we knew who he was, and we were singing it for days. Check it:

As if that wasn’t enough, there’s a slough of great vendors setting up tomorrow. Here’s a taste:

  1. Bud Vases by Dizzy Leaf Pottery
  2. An Interactive Journal from My Book of Lists
  3. Earrings by Talia Serinese Designs
  4. Avocado Lime Soap by My Fresh Soap

The festival kicks off at 11am tomorrow and runs quite late. I hope you can pop by for some music, eats, and shopping! If you’re not familiar with the Reynoldstown area, no sweat! Here’s a handy Google map for ya:

See you tomorrow!!
