What’s more local than food you grew in your very own back yard, right? This Saturday, Atlanta folks can pick up their very own fruit trees at the annual Fruit Tree Sale!
Last year, they sold out in 30 minutes, so you probably want to try to get there early. The sale runs from 9am to 12pm this very Saturday, the 22nd at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. They offered over 1000 trees in their online presale (I wish I’d known!), and those are all sold out already. They’ll also have fruit tree experts available to chat with you about your plant and how to help it thrive.
