You don’t need hours and hours to cook up some healthy, delicious collard greens!

Gourmet magazine’s executive food editor shares a great method for quickly cooking up collard greens, and it’s vegan to boot! You could apply this to any hardy leafy green like kale or mustard greens, too! It also works well with chopped cabbage. Check it:

I love cooking collard greens in the crock pot, but I’ve used this stove top method for all sorts of greens, and it’s great! They’re delicious as a side or in a bowl with tofu and rice or mashed potatoes. YUM!
