Handmade For Foodies

Do you love food as much as I do? Whether I’m crafting, writing, or just chilling, it feels like food is always in the back of my mind. What am I going to do with the eggplant from our CSA basket? Do we have a plan for dinner tomorrow? I’m basically always scheming new recipes, and I bet that’s true for a lot of you guys, too. You love food, so why shouldn’t your handmade shopping be all about cooking, too?

My friend Jeanette Zeis debuted these super adorable nutritional yeast bowls in her Etsy shop  – The Vegan Dish – this week, and I can’t stop squeeing over them! For most vegans, nooch is a dietary staple, and this bowl is way cuter than the bag from the bulk bin that I usually use to store my nutritional yeast.

Lots of cooking means lots of fresh produce! You can often skip the single-use plastic produce bag when you’re buying large items like potatoes, but for smaller veggies like okra a bag does help keep things organized. Instead of a disposable plastic bag, check out these awesome organic cotton produce bags from Starflower!

Of course, if you love food, you want to show it off, right? This Beet the System organic cotton tee from Black Sheep Heap is rocking my socks!
