Starting on December 1, 2009, the FTC is requiring that bloggers fully disclose if we’re making money from mentions of products on our sites and when we receive freebies for review. I try to be up front and honest whenever I write something, but just in case anything isn’t clear, here we go:
- I get paid a small percentage if you purchase something through the Amazon links on my site. If you start your shopping on Amazon by clicking one of my links, I get an even smaller percentage. I never link to anything on Amazon unless I was going to include that item in my post anyway. Incidentally, if you’d like to help me keep the lights on, click one of my Amazon links get shopping!
- I’d never review a freebie without mentioning that the company sent me a sample. Any time I do review freebies, I promise to be totally honest about my experience.
- If you buy something from my Etsy shop, I keep most of the cash from that sale, minus percentages from Etsy, PayPal, and packaging/shipping costs. If you want to support my indie business, you can head over to my shop and pick up some handmade goodness!
If you’ve got any questions about my policies or want anything clarified, you can hit my up by sending an email through the Contact page!
