It’s still crazy hectic over here, but I wanted to take a minute to talk about Blog Action Day! This is an annual event where folks across the Internet pull together to raise awareness about a particular issue. This year’s topic is water, and I think the organizers couldn’t have picked something more timely.

It’s still crazy hectic over here, but I wanted to take a minute to talk about Blog Action Day! This is an annual event where folks across the Internet pull together to raise awareness about a particular issue. This year’s topic is water, and I think the organizers couldn’t have picked something more timely.

There are so many people that live without access to safe, clean water, and that number is growing. It’s easy to take water for granted, when we’re lucky enough to have clean water come right out of the tap. Over at Eat Drink Better, I have a post on how you can donate your birthday for clean drinking water, a collaboration between Will and Jada Smith and the amazing Charity: Water.

Also at Eat Drink Better, Jeannie wrote an excellent post on the manufactured demand for bottled water.

Here at home, water conservation can be so easy! This isn’t a Blog Action Day post, but over at Green Upgrader not too long ago, I wrote up some simple tips for conserving water.
