How freaking cool is this acorn cap project from Kiwi Crate? You could attach a loop to the back and string these on a necklace or wire them into a pair of earrings. So fun! How would you make these into proper beads? Speak up, my jewelry-making pals!

Yesterday, a bunch of folks headed up to Burt’s Farm to check out the fall goodness! I’d never been up to the farm before, and it was pretty much fantastical. There were crazy pumpkins as far as the eye could see! The one I got was called an “Old Timey” pumpkin. You can see a bunch of them pictured above I loved its pale color and bubbly shape! The one I took home had a lovely, curved stem, too! Check out our whole haul:

I was just out front watering the garden, and that Fall smell is in the air. Hurrah! Time to pull out my jackets and hoodies and cozy boots. It’s also time to get started on gifts, if I want to do handmade holiday again this year. Step one: a list!

I was just out front watering the garden, and that Fall smell is in the air. Hurrah! Time to pull out my jackets and hoodies and cozy boots. It’s also time to get started on gifts, if I want to do handmade holiday again this year. Step one: a list!

Do you guys do handmade gifts or store-bought? Or a little of each? I was thinking of trying to do mostly handmade with some store-bought stuff here and there to fill in.

Eep! If I want to be any sort of on time to the dayjob, I had better get moving!
