The amazing Christy Petterson interviewed little ol’ me for the “Craft Idol” at Hello Craft!!! There’s a screenshot of the article above, and you can read the whole interview here.

If you’re a crafter and not familiar with Hello Craft, I highly recommend checking them out. They organize the Crafty Bastards market in Washington D.C. and the annual Summit of Awesome, a crafty conference where makers can connect with folks from all over the country. Members get access to all sorts of fantastical crafty resources, too!

Thanks so much to Christy and all of the crafty ladies at Hello Craft for the shout out. I’m so honored!

You guys! I just learned something super exciting! Not only do a bunch of my friends, like Christy from a. bardis and Shannon from Patina have projects in Gath Johnson’s new book 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse, but I got a thank you in the Acknowledgments! And that’s not all. They also listed Crafting a Green World under the internet resources in the back of the book. I was so excited and surprised to see my name and CAGW in there when Shannon showed me at Kraftwork, that I maybe squeed a little too loudly causing people in the room to look over.

The book is gorgeous – hundreds of pages of recycled DIY inspiration. You should totally pick up a copy if you haven’t already! I ordered mine on Friday and can’t wait to thumb through.
