Typography is super hip right now, so of course I wanted Darrol to have one of those cute graphic wall letters for his nursery. I’d been looking at those cardboard letter that you can buy and paint or decoupage but decided that I’d rather create something from scratch using what’s in my stash instead. This plush letter fit the bill perfectly!
Before our nursery even had a theme, I knew I wanted to make bunting to go on the wall.
Traditionally, bunting is made by stringing triangles or other flag-shapes onto ribbon, but who says your bunting has to be traditional or ordinary? For our spacey nursery, I decided to use felt stars instead of the usual shapes.

We threw a super awesome baby shower here for one of my very favorite couples, and my friend Kip and I had a blast whipping up recycled decorations to make it feel really special. These upcycled streamers were my big decor contribution, and I was super happy with how they came out!
