Got a question that’s not on this list? Feel free to contact me!
Can I use your image/tutorial/recipe on my site?
You are welcome to use one image from any of my recipes or tutorials as long as you link back to the original recipe or tutorial. It’s also OK to excerpt my work, but please limit excerpts to a few sentences and include a link back to the original. It is not OK to copy entire recipes or tutorials without my express permission. If you’re looking to partner in this way, contact me, and we can talk!
Do you accept guest posts?
It depends! Are you a vegan cook or green crafter with an awesome tutorial or recipe to share? Then yes! Are you a marketer who “writes on a broad range of topics?” Then no, thank you.
What is vegan crafting?
I know, you don’t eat fabric, so what does “vegan crafting” mean? Vegans don’t just skip the animal products on our plates. We skip it in our day-to-day. That means we don’t craft with leather, shells, feathers, etc. If it came from an animal, we don’t use it in our crafting.
Will you review my product?
Maybe! Contact me, and we can talk about it. Just like with guest posts, I’m picky about what products I will review and even more picky about what products I will review for free. Writing a thoughtful review with original photos takes time, and I pay my bills with my writing. That said, I’m an avid supporter of the vegan and crafty community, so if you’re a small indie biz or make something that’s just plain awesome, I might waive my review fee just to spread the word about you.
If I got paid to review a product or you sent me samples to test, I will disclose that in the review. I will also disclose if I purchased something myself to review. I believe in being open!
How do you create your videos?
Believe it or not, I use my iPhone 6 to shoot my videos in a sunny window, and I edit them in iMovie. I have a special overhead tripod called the Overhead Pro that doubles as a tripod for my regular camera. If you’re interested in the Overhead Pro, you can get $10 off if you use the coupon code Glue&GlitterReader at checkout.
What camera do you use?
For still photos, I use the Canon EOS M2 Mark II. It shoots photos and video and is a nice size to bring with you on trips and to restaurants. I am using the lens that it came with and generally also shoot my photos using natural light.
