If you've been wanting to get into pickling, I suggest starting with my quick pickled onions and jalapeños or quick pickled carrots. Those are very simple, basic recipes that you can build on during your quick pickling journey.

frequently asked question!
What kind of jar works best?
When you're making pickles and preserves at home, having a jar that can stand up to heat is a must. Even though we aren't doing a hot water bath, you will be pouring hot brine or hot preserves into the jar, and you don't want it to crack. Canning jars, like these wide-mouth pint jars are ideal.
