- decadent chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy, salty pretzels
- easy and fun to make!
- naturally soy-free. Use sunflower seed butter for nut-free, if needed, and you can use gluten-free pretzels, if needed, for gluten-free chocolate peanut butter pretzel bark.

✓ Ingredients and Substitutions
- vegan chocolate - You can use vegan chocolate chips or chop up your favorite plain vegan chocolate bar.
- peanut butter - Do not use natural peanut butter for this recipe. It just doesn't melt the same way. You can mix a tablespoon of powdered sugar into the peanut butter, if you want it to be firmer when it cools.
- pretzels - Use pretzels that you like! Gluten-free pretzels are fine to use.
🔪 How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark with Pretzels
Place the chocolate into a small, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high in 30-second bursts, stirring the chocolate well in between, until it's smooth and creamy.
In another small microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter in 15-second bursts, stirring in between, until it's smooth and pourable. If you want your peanut butter to be firmer when it cools, stir in a teaspoon or so of powdered sugar.

Pour your chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and use a rubber spatula to spread it out. Then, drizzle the peanut butter all over.

Use a toothpick or a butter knife to swirl the chocolate and peanut butter together.
Sprinkle the pretzel pieces evenly over the chocolate peanut butter bark, lightly tapping it into the chocolate, though it's fine if it sticks out a little bit. Transfer to the freezer to chill for at least half an hour, until it's completely firm.

When it's completely cooled through, break your chocolate bark up into pieces, and either package them for gifts or store in a closed container in the refrigerator.

💡 Helpful Tips
- If you hate microwaves, melt the chocolate and the peanut butter in a double boiler instead.
- When you're melting the chocolate and peanut butter in the microwave, make sure you stir between bursts. They usually are melted before they look melted.
- Adding the optional powdered sugar will yield firmer peanut butter swirls.
🫙 Storage Directions
Chocolate peanut butter pretzel bark will keep for up to a week in a closed container in the refrigerator. I do not recommend storing this in the pantry, because the chocolate just doesn't harden the same way after you melt and re-cool it.
