If you’re new to air frying, it’s basically some kind of magic. The air fryer uses circulating, super hot air to “fry” your food. It’s sort of a super-charged convection oven that makes things taste delicious, and this crispy air fried tofu is a great recipe to get you started with the air frier..

Guys, my family has been eating this air fried tofu at least 2-3 times a week since I got my air fryer. It is super quick, easy, and so, so delicious! You need about 5 minutes to slice the tofu and toss it in the marinade, then another 30 minutes to marinate and 20 minutes to air fry. In a pinch, you can skip the marinating to save yourself some time.
You can really adapt this recipe to taste any way you like your tofu to taste. I like this particular marinade because it has three ingredients that I almost always have in my kitchen, and it tastes amazing. Feel free to marinate your crispy air fried tofu in whatever sauce or dressing you like.

- 1 block firm tofu pressed and cut into 1" cubes
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium is OK
- 1 teaspoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil NOT optional
- 1 tablespoon potato starch or cornstarch
In a shallow bowl, toss together the tofu, soy sauce, vinegar, and oil. Set aside to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
Toss the marinated tofu with the cornstarch, then pour into the basket of your air fryer. Cook on 370 for 20 minutes, shaking after 10 minutes.
