If you know me, you know that I love a tahini dressing! I've got a delicious, tangy lemon tahini sauce, spicy tahini dressing, creamy tahini ranch, and a super savory tahini miso dressing. And today, we're making this creamy, zesty, turmeric tahini dressing.

Turmeric has this great, earthy flavor that's wonderful in soups, stews, and curries, and it adds a delicious taste and gorgeous golden color to this dressing!
This is another of my blender salad dressings. I love making creamy dressings and sauces in the blender, because it's so quick and easy.

✓ Ingredients and substitutions
- tahini - The base for your creamy dressing. Make sure you stir your tahini well before measuring, so you don't end up with watery dressing!
- lime juice - For flavor and tang.
- ginger - Adds a little bit of heat. Tahini and ginger pair so well together!
- garlic powder - For umami.
- turmeric - Gives the dressing its golden color and signature flavor.
- black pepper - Ups the heat a little bit more. Omit or reduce, if needed.
- maple syrup - You may or may not need the maple syrup, depending on the final flavor. Tahini can have a slightly bitter flavor sometimes, and if that's coming through in the dressing or if the dressing tastes too earthy, a little maple syrup offsets that flavor.
🔪 How to make turmeric tahini dressing

Add all of your ingredients to your blender.

Puree until smooth, taste and add maple syrup, if needed, and you're good to go.
💡 Helpful tips
- Please be sure to stir your tahini before measuring! Tahini separates, even in the fridge, and if you don't stir, your dressing will end up too thin.
- This dressing is mildly spicy. You can adjust the heat by reducing the amount of ginger and black pepper.
- Turmeric tahini dressing thickens when you chill it. If you're making this in advance, pull it out of the fridge when you start preparing whatever you're planning to use it on, so the dressing can come to room temperature. Stir or shake before using.
🫙 Storage directions
Turmeric tahini dressing will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator.
